Finishing work can start 7–10 days after construction to allow full mortar setting. Apply a thin layer of Ashbond putty over grooves, joints, and then the entire partition. Install mesh where partitions meet concrete walls or ceilings. After cleaning, paint with any suitable interior paint, allowing 4 hours between coats. If stains remain, apply a primer diluted with up to 20% turpentine, wait 24 hours, then apply the final coat.
